Frequently Asked Questions
Why is a 3-LAYER Construction Important?
3-layered construction provides the most stable format for engineered hardwood flooring, when produced with the single species hardwood core layer we use – Hevea Brasiliensis. Hevea shares the same density and strength as White Oak and outperforms plywood or softwood core material. This means that not only can we produce wider, more attractive floor boards, our material has far greater stability under extreme climatic conditions from the sub-zero winters of Scandinavia to the year-round warmth and humidity of South East Asia.
Where Does HEVEA BRASILIENSIS Come From?
100% of the Hevea used in our flooring is sourced from sustainably managed plantations in Indonesia.
